We strongly feel that Councilmember Reinette Senum should resign from the Nevada City Council after blasting law enforcement on her Facebook page. Our First Amendment guarantees we do have freedom of speech but that freedom needs to be used wisely. Someone should not cry "fire" in a huge crowd of people. Likewise our freedom of speech should not help to cause anarchy in America by harshly criticizing our police force who is there for our protection.

Our Civic Leaders should be peacemakers not those that cause division.
