Friday evening there is a unique opportunity for local residents to watch a live video broadcast and interact via social media with the astronauts on the International Space Station. The National Geographic Channel is presenting Live From Space which will literally take viewers on a trip around the Earth from the perspective of the International Space Station. KNCO spoke with former NASA astronaut Dr. Sandy Magnus who flew multiple Space Shuttle missions between 2002 and 2008 and spent four and half months on the International Space Station. Dr. Magnus says each mission to space was amazing.
