Orland 23 – Bear River 18

The Orland Trojans jumped out to a 14-0 halftime lead and held off a Bear River comeback to defeat the Bruins 23-18 in the season opener for both teams.  The Bruins scored two touchdown in a 13 second span to close to within 14-12 but could get no closer.  The Bruins return to Ramsey Stadium for their home opener next Friday when they host Union Mine.
