Over 1000 Marijuana Plants Seized North San Juan

Three arrests from the latest eradication of a large marijuana grow in Nevada County. This one occurred on Farrell Ravine Road in the North San Juan area. Sheriff’s Captain Paul Schmidt says they seized 1002 plants. And, once again, environmental damage was also found…

The third person arrested was a local transient, 37-year-old Mark Firestone. He wasn’t charged with illegal cultivation but for an unrelated felony warrant.
Schmidt says there was no medical marijuana recommendation for the grow.
