If you are in Nevada City or outlying areas to the north and east and your power is out, you may be in the dark for awhile. Pacific Gas and Electric spokesman Paul Moreno says the lights went out around 1:30 this afternoon…
The pole is on Tyler Foote Road near the Columbia Hill substation, but it’s still not known what caused the pole to break. Moreno says workers are on the scene, but it is a major repair…
Moreno says initially, about 28-hundred customers lost power. That number as of around 4pm is about 12-hundred. Moreno says they are working to get backup generators to get the power back on in Washington and Sierra City.
