P G & E To Provide Dam Information

It is a rare occasion when a dam floods, but it is still possible. Because of that, P-G-and-E will be holding meetings in the next couple of weeks to inform those who live near the utility’s dams and reservoirs…

There are six dams in Placer and Nevada Counties, including the Spaulding Dam in Nevada County, and the Rock Creek, Halsey Afterbay and Wise Forebay Dams near Auburn. One of the meetings is Thursday in Colfax at the City Hall Building. There will also be a meeting in Auburn at the Holiday Inn April 4. Both are an open house type where you can drop by anytime, from 5 to 8pm.
