Paint and Glass Shop Flooded in Grass Valley

The heavy wind and rain wreaked havoc on Nevada County Saturday night and much of Sunday morning finally slowing in the early afternoon. Residents and businesses suffered through power outages and flooding related to the intense storm. One business in Grass Valley, Moule Paint and Glass on East Main and Berryhill Dr, was completely flooded as a culvert up hill from the shop backed up in the early morning hours on Sunday.

Jim Moule was determined to not let the damage slow down business. He was amazed at the number of family, friends, and even customers turned out to help salvage the shop.

Though the damage is not cheap and the cleanup inconvenient, Jim has a positive attitude about moving forward.
