The Paint the Town Pink event Thursday night at the Nevada County fairgrounds was huge success. over 750 people turned out to celebrate Breast Cancer awareness and raise funds for the Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital Foundation specifically for the Women’s Imaging Center.
Director of Major Gifts for the Foundation, Sandra Barrington the was excited about the amount of money the event is raising.

Executive Director for the Foundation, Kimberly Parker is pleased that proceeds from Paint The Town Pink will pay for an important modification to the MRI at the Imaging Center.

The Union newspaper sponsored the event and did an exceptional job expanding the facility to ease crowding and facilitate flow and interaction among guests. All 750 attendees were smiling and had an enjoyable evening while supporting a valuable cause.
