Parent University This Weekend

A group of community members are putting together experts to present a “Parent University” series of workshops this Saturday to empower parents of middle and high school age students with information, skills and resources. Grass Valley Police Officer Zack Laferriere says his work experience led him to want to participate in the Parent U.

A series of experts will be leading the breakout sessions at Parent U which is scheduled for this Saturday at Sierra College.

Another workshop takes will take a real look at today’s culture and empower parents with conversation starters.

Officer Laferriere says the workshop is this Saturday Oct. 25th from 10am to 2 pm. and there is no cost.
