Parole Checks Lead to Arrests

Officers from Grass Valley Police Department, Nevada City Police and California Parole officers worked together providing parole checks around Nevada County Tuesday. As a result at least two parolees were taken into custody. Lt Alex Gammelgard says one suspect was located at a motel and a search turned up paraphernalia.

A second arrest was made at a camp near the Madellyn Helling Library. 45 year old John Dryden was located using technology.

Dryden was easily transported across the parking lot to the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
