Passenger Hurt, Driver Arrested in City Crash

A crash in downtown Grass Valley resulted in extracation of a passenger, and the arrest of the driver. Nevada County Consolidated Fire responded to the accident around 11:30 Friday night, and had to pull the roof off of the vehicle to get to the trapped passenger. Grass Valley Police say they located 20 year-old Daniel Warfield of Grass Valley on Whiting Street shortly after the accident.Warfield-Daniel-booking-pho  Warfield was taken into custody for suspicion of felony hit and run, felony drunk driving and driving on a suspended license. He was treated at Sierra Nevada Hospital before being booked into the jail…
