Peace Love & War-Music Film Festival Benefits Veterans

Morrison Hotel Gallery is teaming up with Nevada city’s Alexander Gallery to raise money for a local military veterans’ program, Image Nation, which is a joint project of the Nevada County Arts Council and Welcome Home Vets.  Peter Blachley who is co-owner of the Gallery says they are presenting  “Peace, Love, War-The sights and sounds of ’67”  which is a two day music film festival and fine art music photography exhibit.

Blachley says they are also doing a showing of films Saturday at the Nevada Theater as a benefit for the local Veterans organization, Welcome Home Vets.

Then on Sunday Blachley says they will present a documentary for veterans called “Thank you for your Service.”

The Alexander Gallery is located at 225 Broad St. in Nevada City, you can get tickets there or at the Briarpatch box office.
