Penn Valley Accident On Highway 20

A Grass Valley woman received serious facial cuts after losing control of her car.  CHP Public Information officer Marc Morrison says the accident happened on Highway 20 a mile east of Rough and Ready. The 34 year old Grass Valley woman lost control of her 2005 BMW when she ran off the road and hit a tree.

The woman driver was taken to Sierra Nevada Memorial Hospital with a sever facial cut. A male passenger was not seriously injured. The CHP has the accident under investigation.
