Pimping Prostitution Arrests in Penryn

A raid of a Placer County spa nets two arrests for pimping and prostitution in the small town of Penryn. Placer County Information Officer Dena Erwin says the arrests came after a lengthy investigation.

A follow-up search was conducted at one of the woman’s homes.

Baker,-Zulgerel1Guirong Li, 54, of Monterey Park, was arrested for prostitution and Zulgerel Baker, 35, of Rocklin, was arrested for pimping. Baker is the manager of the spa. Both were taken into custody after the solicitation and subsequent raid at the business.

Erwin says this isn’t the first time the facility has been involved with law enforcement.

Erwin says he investigation is ongoing. Both women were released on bail early Wednesday morning.
