The Pine Tree Quilt Guild is holding their 31st annual quilt show this weekend at the Nevada County Fairgrounds. Guild member Ardy Tobin says there will be a host of different types of quilts at the show.
Tobin and guild member Joy Wagner say the profits from the show go towards helping donation projects run by the guild that benefit groups throughout the county.
Proceeds also go towards scholarships and education outreach programs, and to help cover the basic costs of running the guild. The show will feature quilting vendors, a silent auctions, a basket raffle, a treasure hunt for kids, and a raffle for the opportunity quilt.
The show is Saturday from 10 to 5 and Sunday from 10 to 4. Box lunches from Christopher’s Deli in Grass Valley will be available for purchase. For more information, check out the guild’s website.
