Pitching pennies…now a good thing!

Hard to believe that this is the fifth year for the KNCO/Kane’s Penny Pitch.  That also means that Johnny Kane and his restaurant have been going strong for about six years also..Wow…where does the time go?  The Penny Pitch is a great fundraiser spearheaded by Joe Hevia of our sales force.  It is modeled after the traditional pitch in San Francisco that benefits St. Anthony’s.  This year, our Pitch benefits the DVSAC and will directly help some of the bravest people in our community…women leaving a violent environment to start a better life for themselves and end the cycle of violence for their kids.  I hope you can stop by Saturday…even to say hi and buy a raffle ticket…and see what fun pitching pennies can be.  The weather will be cool..but that is perfect pitching weather…at least for this guy from Jersey City.  It starts at 1pm…hope to see you there!
