Placer 31 Bear River 6

The Bear River Bruins will not be going to the postseason as they fall to the Hillmen at Placer High 31-6.  The Bruins scored early on a 60 yard touchdown pass to Stephen Taylor but managed only 60 more yards of total offense as the Hillmen’s ground game, led by Junior Mario Perez, dominated the contest.  The Bruins dropped to 1-3 in the Pioneer Valley League and will close their season next week at home against Center High.
