Placer 63, Nevada Union 12

Marshall Chapman scored five touchdowns, and the rout was on, as the Placer Hillmen rolled over the Nevada Union Miners 63-12 in the inaugural Foothill Valley League game for both schools Friday night in Auburn. Dawson Fay scored both Miner T-Ds, including one for 74 yards late in the first half, but it was already 42-0 before that score. Fay added an eight yard late in the game. N-U (3-3, 0-1) returns home for the first time since August 31 on Friday, when they take on Oakmont.
