It is believed the incident is a crime of opportunity with it being unlikely that the suspect was casing the woman’s house.

Anyone who may know this suspect is urged to contact Placer County Crime Stoppers. Callers are eligible for a reward of up to $1,000 if the tip leads to an arrest.
