Placer Teacher Arrested for Inappropriate Relationship

A Placer County teacher has been arrested by Placer County Sheriff deputies stemming from a report of an inappropriate sexual relationship between the teacher and a student.

Public information Officer, Dena Erwin says, Special Education Teacher, Jennifer Lynn Woods, was taken into custody following an investigation.

Erwin says that the investigation came to light when a school employee reported the alleged relationship to Woods employer, the Placer County Office of Education, and officials contacted the Sheriff’s Office.
Woods was arrested and booked into Placer County Jail for allegedly having sex with a minor and oral copulation with a minor. Bail was set at 100,000 dollars.
