Plane Crash Northeast of Truckee

It has been confirmed that a small plane crashed in the area between northeast Truckee and the California Nevada border.

Ann Westling of the Tahoe National Forest reports no word on the pilot or if there were any passengers on board. The Sierra County Sheriff’s Office has assumed command of the plane crash site.
