Plants and Seedling Give-a-Way Wednesday

If you have some space for  plants on your property, you may want to take advantage of free native plants and seedlings being offered Wednesday, April 17th, through The Nevada County Resource Conservation District (NCRCD), in partnership with Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) , Sierra Pacific Industries (SPI), and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E).
Conservation District  Administrator, Jan Blake says  they hold this event every year.

Blake says that they will have a variety of seedlings to choose from.

Because the plants are native they are easier to care for.

Quantities are limited while supplies last.
The annual Plant & Seedling Give-Away, is tomorrow  from 10am to 2pm.  at the resource conservation district parking lot at Presley way and East Main across the street from the Nevada County Country Club.
