A family run business is expanding in Nevada County. Plaza Tire and Auto Service has purchased the former Big O Tire store on East Main Street, and within one to two months will open a new Plaza Tire and Auto Service store in Grass Valley.
Blake Heauser, the third generation of Heauser’s in the family business, is a recent graduate of University of Nevada, Reno and will manage the new Grass Valley store.

Plaza Tire and Auto Service will be expanding from it’s current 35 employees. Heauser says the support from the community has lead to Plaza Tire’s success and the company will continue to be thankful for that support.
Blake Heauser says Plaza Tire has been in the community since his grandparents opened the first store over 50 years ago. His father, Mark, and uncle, Mike Heauser have run the business since their parents stepped down. Plaza Tire has stores in Nevada City, Penn Valley, Colfax and soon to open at 1571 East Main St. Grass Valley.
