Police Busier For This Year’s Parade

Having Indy 500 winner Alexander Rossi at the Constitution Day parade means a little extra work for the Nevada City Police Department…

Chief Tim Foley says that includes himself. That’s ten full time officers,a few reserves, Community Service Officers and other volunteers. Other agencies will help out as well. Foley says the biggest duty, and maybe the most fun, is to get Rossi to the parade from the car show at the Nevada County Fairgrounds…

Many of the police officers, along with those from the other agencies, will also get to be in the parade.
