Police Intern Program Highlights To Be Shared With City Council

Earlier this year the Grass Valley Police Department partnered with Sierra College to enlist students as Police Aides. Chief John Foster says the Aides include eight students in the Administrative of Justice Program at Sierra College and provide lower level support to the department.

The Chief also plans to share them with the Nevada City Police Department at different times. It’s a win-win for the students and the department.

The interns are presenting the success of the program from their perspective at the City Council this evening.
