Police Officers Awarded by City of Grass Valley

Three Grass Valley police officers have been singled out, and honored for meritorious service. Two of them were presented with the Silver Medal of Valor for bravery at last night’s City Council meeting. Police Chief John Foster says officers Clint Bates and John Herrera went above and beyond the call of duty when they were involved in a shootout with a suspect in May of last year…
