Positive Changes for Local Transit Riders

Public transportation in Nevada County will see some changes that will begin to go into effect Monday July 1st, and the changes will be beneficial to riders. County Transit Services Manager, Susan Healy-Harman, says that along with some structural changes at several stops, some services will be reinstated.

The new Saturday service will begin on July 6th and all core routes will have buses running.

Another big change has to do with door-to-door services for special needs passengers. Those services are transitioning from Gold Country Telecare to Paratransit Services.
