An anonymous complaint about a marijuana odor at the Penn valley Mini Storage led to Nevada County Narcotics officers seizing guns and marijuana and arresting two people. Nevada County Sheriff’s Sgt. Ray Kress says a search warrant was served on Tuesday at the storage unit.
Information in the shed lead officers to 51 year old Donald Brezo and The following Day Nevada County Narcotics Officers served a search warrant at his home in the 14-thousand block of Stagecoach Way in Rough and Ready. Sgt. Kress says deputies serarching the home found Donald’s brother, 56 year old Marco Brezo trimming marijuana in a detached shed.
Marco Brezo were booked into jail of charges of growing marijuana, possession of marijuana for sale, and criminal conspiracy. Donald Brezo was arrested at his place of work and charged with 6 felonies including possession of marijuana for sale, being an ex felon with a firearm and in possession of ammunition, receiving known stolen property and criminal conspiracy.
