Pot Measure Wording Faces Legal Challenge

Nevada County’s Medical Marijuana measure is on hold, for now. A judge has temporarily stopped Measure W because of a writ filed to have the measure thrown out. Forrest Hurd has an eight year old son who is dependent on medical marijuna for a treatment of a rare form of epilepsy. A hearing was held on Friday, but was continued until tomorrow (Tuesday) at 8:30am. A decision by the judge is expected sometime on Tuesday.
