Potential Explosive A “Brush” With Danger

Grass Valley Police were summoned to the parking lot near Jamba Juice on Freeman Lane just after 6:00 PM on Tuesday evening for a report of a possible explosive device near a planter. Police Sgt. Alex Gammelgard said a citizen reported a ticking sound could be head coming from a package.

Officers carefully approached the suspicious package and were relieved to discover it was not an explosive.

Officers also discovered what caused the citizen to become concerned.
