Potential Work Accident Results in Death

A construction worker apparently fell to his death while hanging siding on a building Tuesday morning.
Nevada County Sheriff Captain Jeff Pettitt says a a man working on a project at a Loma Rica Industrial Park was found unresponsive on the ground a little before 11:00 AM Tuesday morning.

Captain Pettitt says the manager had spoken with the worker when he arrived this morning, and then discovered him on the ground several hours later when he went to check on him. The incident does not appear to be suspicious at this time.

The Coroner’s Office is also investigating to determine the exact cause of death.
