Power Coming Back After Several Overnight Outages

Power has been gradually coming back on for several thousand Nevada County residents, who found themselves without electricity during the night. Pacific Gas and Electric spokeswoman Brandi Merlo says while they haven’t determined a cause for all of the outages, most of them seem to be weather related…

Merlo says it’s not just been here–they’ve had outages all over northern California, and are keeping an eye on the weather for the rest of the week…

The outages in western Nevada County have been scattered from Rough and Ready Highway to Cedar Ridge to east of Nevada City. Merlo says power for just about everyone should be back by sometime this evening.
