Probation Sweep Nets Wanted Burglar

What started as a probation search for a wanted burglar, turned into several arrests for the Nevada County Sheriff’s Narcotics Task Force. Sheriff Keith Royal says deputies were looking for 35 year-old Justin Montgomery. The search began yesterday in the 16-thousand block of Bush Road in Nevada City. They didn’t find Montgomery, but 29Turpen-2 year-old Lincoln Turpin admitted to possession of methamphetamine, and Royal says 31 year-old Melissa Farnsworth was there as well…

They also obtained information about Montgomery that led them to a home in the 16-thousand block of Patricia Way. They found 28 year-old Ryan Schlager…

Montgomery, who was already out on bail, Montgomery-2now has bail set at 85-thousand dollars.
