Probation Workers Shave Heads for Charity

A few members of the Nevada County Probation Department got a little more than a haircut recently. They decided to get their heads shaved for charity. The St. Baldrick’s Foundation helps support child cancer research. Teri-Lynn, who didn’t want to use her last name because she works with inmates, says she was the only woman on her team, and got her hair cut more than the men did…

St. Baldrick’s has funded more than 200-million dollars in grants for childhood cancer research since they were founded in 2005.
