Process in Place to Fill Vacant Council Seat

Officials in Grass Valley have finalized the process to be used to fill a vacant seat on the City Council. City Manager Bob Richardson says the process was announced on Tuesday.

The simple application is due back to City Hall by noon on Friday, January 30th.

Ideally, the Council will come back on February 24th to make a final decision. Richardson says the Council plans to interview all applicants.

Qualified applicants for City Council must be registered voters, at last 18 years of age and residents of Grass Valley.
