A major rennovation and expansion of Nevada County’s transitional facility for severely mentally ill adults is now more than halfway completed. County officials toured the Odyssey House on Monday. That included Housing and Community Development Director Mike Dent. Dent says the rennovation should be completed by September. Odyssey House is located in Nevada City, above the Madelyn Helling Library. He says it will also fit in well with the future of the nearby Brunswick Commons Project, which is expected to be completed in November. It’ll have 13 units set aside for with physical, mental, and developmental disabilities.
