Progressive Alliance Holds Forum on Propositions

Have you seen the ballot for the November 8 election? Are you confused about all of the different propositions and measures? The Nevada County Progressive Alliance can help. The group is holding a pre-election meeting tomorrow at the Madelyn Helling Library, and the public is invited. Leah Schwinn is one of the founding members of the group, and says there will be someone to present something on each of the different propositions…

There are 17 different propositions and three county measures. Schwinn says they only have two hours, so they might skip over a proposition or two…

Local candidates are also invited. The meeting is from 2 to 4pm in the Gene Albaugh Community Room. Because the library is open during these hours, you are asked to park in the lower lots near the Rood Center.
