Purse Snatchers Eye Unattended Shopping Carts

Grass Valley Police are reminding shoppers   to keep an eye on their purses and wallets.  Captain Rex Marks says 4 purses were reported stolen   from  shopping carts to Grass Valley Police in just the past week

Three of the purses stolen last week were recovered.

Capt. Marks says an arrest was made yesterday in a prior  case of a purse that was taken   from a shopping cart in the Brunswick Basin  on October 23rd.
Capt. Marks says the suspect , 32 year old Miranda Naomi Foster  was linked to  thousands of dollars of charges on the stolen cards.

Foster was arrested on charges of Theft and use of a credit card, Receiving stolen property, Unauthorized use of another persons identity,  and Second degree burglary.  She was booked into the Wayne Brown Correctional Facility.
