Questionable Call to Pharmacy Leads to Arrest

A woman saying she was from an Auburn doctors office tried to get several prescriptions from a local pharmacy. Grass Valley Police Sergeant Joe Matteoni says the woman called the Spring Hill pharmacy saying she was from the doctors office. The pharmacy staff was suspicious of the telephone call.

Carbone-Jones,-Cheryl1When 40 year old Cheryl Carbone-Jones of Grass Valley arrived to pickup the prescriptions, she was met by the Grass Valley Police. The Sergeant says she tried to tell Officer she was someone else. The woman was taken into custody for suspicion of burglary, forgery, interfering with an officer and representing herself a a medical professional.
