Quick Response Limits Rough and Ready Fire

CalFire dispatched a tanker and Air Tac plane to a report of a vegetation fire last evening. Dispatcher, Beth Bowersox,  says the fire was near Rough and Ready- North of Ponderosa Way and North Sazerac Lane.

The fire was contained to a quarter-acre…One vehicle also burned. It’s not known yet if it started as a vehcile fire or if the vegetation fire spread to the car.  The cause is still being investigated.
