Over 250 quilts of all varieties will be on display at the Prime Time in the Foothills Quilt show at the Auburn Fairgrounds this weekend. Foothill Quilt Guild Show organizer says quilting is no longer reserved just for grandmothers. Today the art form is popular with all ages, men and women, and you will see a little bit of every style of quilt at the show at the Auburn Fairgrounds March 23-24.. Sanchez says a guest artist from the Bay Area will also be featured at the show.

The Quilts will be displayed in gallery fashion in several buildings at the Auburn Fairgrounds they will also have 30 vendors with the latest in fabric and notions in the Placer building, demonstrations and a fashion show featuring wearable art. . Admission to the Auburn quilt show is $7 and includes parking.
