RCD Seminar on Fire Ecology and Your Property

Wildfire plays a big part in the eco-system on the western slopes of the Sierra in Nevada County and you can learn about our unique fire weather and it’s impacts on your property at a Nevada County Resource Conservation District seminar presented for the public May 3rd. The featured speaker is Sierra Pacific Industries registered Professional Forester, Robert Ingram who says fire is a natural process and it will occur at some point so managing fuels on your property is hugely important. He will also discuss the impact of Bark Beetles on the local trees.*

Ingram will also talk about Vegetation Control and Burning on your property.
