Good news for gardeners: The Nevada County Resources Conservation Department is giving a seminar on using native grasses in landscapes, meadows and pastures next Saturday. Master gardener Lynn Lorenson will be talking about different native grasses and the ways they can be used. Resources Conservation Director Janet Blake says much of the seminar will be dedicated to understanding the advantages of native grasses for lawns and to a Q&A session about natural grasses.
