Trygg says the timing of lifting a stay-at-home order will also depend on the number of coronavirus cases for a particular county and how major any surge in local hospitalizations would be, along with the ability to handle it. Newsom’s parameters include expanded testing ability, progress in developing treatments, protecting high risk groups adequately, and the ability of schools and businesses to support physical distancing guidelines.
