Real Estate Beginning To Look Better

The number of homes sold in Nevada County is up  over 25 percent from the same period last year.   Coldwell Banker Grass Roots Realty Owner and General Manager Rick DeJesus says the  average sales price is also up 3.9 percent to $254-thousand, 568 dollars.  DeJesus says the problem now is the dwindling inventory of homes on the market.

DeJesus says  for  lower price range homes,  right now it is a sellers market.
According to the Multiple Listings report 1375 homes have sold in the first three quarters of this year in western Nevada County.  Another piece of good news is that new home construction nationwide is showing some good numbers for the first time in many years.
