Real Estate Market Off To Hot Start Here

Nevada County’s real estate market is off to a hot start for 2017. Realtors Association member, and past President, Greg Bullanti, says pending January home sales were up 28% from a year ago, at 114 units, with final sales up 44%, at 91 units. Meanwhile, Bullanti says the average home sales price has climbed in the last year from $391,000 to $395,000, with the median price showing an even greater jump, from $350,000 to $363,000. But he says historically-low interest rates and more good-paying jobs continue to drive up demand.
