Recall Drive Launched Against All County Supes

A recall drive against the entire Nevada County Board of Supervisors is getting underway. One of the concerned citizens making the announcement is Calvin Clark. The group also says the Board has neglected requests to immediately terminate public health officials and failed to re-open the county. There is one non-pandemic related concern. They say the recently-approved cannabis drone program is unconstitutional and would allow warrantless searches. Clark had no details on the number of signatures that would need to be gathered, nor a deadline for turning them in. It’s also unclear when or how recall votes would be held, if enough signatures are validated by the county elections department. Board Chair Dan Miller is not running for re-election next year.
