Nevada County Sheriff’s Deputies and the CHP received numerous calls of a reckless driver in the Penn Valley area about 7:15 Saturday night. CHP officer Greg Tassone says the sheriffs office was the first to respond and located the suspect vehicle on Broken Oaks Court.

When the CHP arrived they found the suspect vehicle on Broken Oaks Court and found the driver and a female passenger and an infant under one year old that was also in the vehicle.

The driver, 21 year old James Marshall was taken into custody and charged with DUI, child endangerment , and for driving on a suspended license, having no insurance and no registration on the vehicle

Officer Tassone says additional charges may be pending in the case with the female involved as well.
