 Reckless Driver arrested on Multiple Charges in Penn Valley

Nevada County Sheriff’s Deputies and the CHP received numerous calls of a reckless driver in the Penn Valley area about 7:15  pm Saturday night. CHP officer Greg Tassone says the Nevada County Sheriffs office was the first to respond.

When the CHP arrived they found the suspect vehicle on Broken Oaks Court and found the driver and a female passenger and an infant under one year old that was also in the vehicle.

The driver,  21 year old James Marshall was determined to be significantly under the influence of alcohol by the CHP and was arrested.

There is a pending hit and run investigation as well. Officer Tassone says they also determined that Marshall was wanted on an outstanding warrant out of Nevada County for similar charges in the past, and Tassone says  additional charges may be pending in the case with the female involved as well.
