Reckless Driving Leads to Arrest

A couple driving on a rural highway were both taken into custody after a Sheriff’s Deputy saw erratic driving by someone on highway 20 late Monday night. Nevada County Sheriff Keith Royal says a deputy returning from Truckee saw a car weaving on Highway 20 near the Omega Rest area north of Nevada City. The Sheriff says the deputy determined the 37 year old female driver  from Paradise had a suspended drivers license. A male passenger was trying to hide a narcotics smoking pipe and did not do a good job of it.
